Windows (PC) Development
While developing for the web has many clear advantages, there are still often needs for desktop software. Our robust engineering background helps us develop platforms that will perfectly support and compliment your concept and mission. Combining technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation, we are able to create desktop apps that harness the power of the local machine while interfacing with the web when needed.
Our PC development is presently limited to Microsoft technologies. We can support integration with Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, and 2010 as well as Sharepoint 2007 and 2010. Where possible, our PC development techniques allow us to quickly port applications to Windows Mobile devices.
We take extra care in developing PC applications:
- We develop with a zero-tolerance for faults due to the inability to quickly patch distributed applications.
- We undergo extensive testing across an array of Virtual Machines to allow for methodical testing between various versions of Windows with varying patch levels.
- We develop with the future in mind by building wrappers to web services or cloud platforms to allow for future expansion without breaking the bank.
