vOfficeware proudly launches www.asmconline.org for the American Society of Military Comptrollers. This WordPress powered content management system is full of great plug-ins, both open source and custom developed. The system integrates with iMIS, the premier association management platform. The system is easy to use and updates are made by ASMC personnel directly. The system supports lead routing, membership self-service actions (password reset, annual dues collection), event calendars, and information dissemination. Given the legacy userbase of the ASMC being government employees on locked down desktops, the site needed to look right without Flash and on browsers as old as Internet Explorer 6. Take a look!
How did you integrate wp with iMIS, and how deep does that go? That would a godsend for my organization.
Sorry for the late reply — check out the comment thread — we’ve responded to this in another post but bottom line metisc.com has a great plugin that is affordable.
So, how did you integrate WordPress and IMIS? Did you you an existing plugin or build your own to handle IMIS authentication?
Sorry for the late reply — we used a component from metISC: http://www.metisc.com/index.php/contact-us
Although this was for iMIS 10. iMIS 15 has web services you can call with regular SOAP methods, but this would require a custom plugin (not as complex as metISC’s)
