Our client, the National Association of regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) presented us with a bit of a challenge. They were looking for a world map that could be completely updatable by non-tech savvy users. This means that the map had to look good, work well, display pertinent information, and be easy enough for NARUC’s staff to add and edit points with just the click of the mouse.

To meet this challenge, we utilized action script to support a dynamic world map. The map works great and looks great. It’s also up to date with the latest geopolitical country lines drawn in

More importantly, this map is simple for the end-user to update. Adding a point is as easy as clicking a place on the map where it should be added. New categories for points can be added in just as easily as well.
