Just as you wouldn’t develop a house without first creating blueprints, developing a custom web site or app would be exceptionally risky without first looking at wireframes which establish the basic website layout. Wireframes, often based on a robust information architecture, identify the layout of a web site or app and provide an initial visual understanding of how the interface will work. Outside of key elements, they usually don’t include the final text or visual designs. Generally the next step after wireframe development is the production of high quality mockups to show the exact look and feel of the site.
While a rare breed of professional, our office in DC makes us an ideal choice for an organization who cannot hire in house, and needs to find a DC website layout designer on a part-time basis.
