User Experience, often abbreviated UX, is the art of engineering a system to be intuitive to the end user. If you think of the grand web sites and services out there such as , Facebook, Gmail, or Craigslist, you may notice there isn’t really a prevalent instruction manual. That’s because hours of skilled time went into creating an unobtrusive, highly functional, and immediately obvious interfaces. While a rare breed of professional, our office in DC makes us an ideal choice for an organization who cannot hire in house, and needs to find a DC user experience designer on a part-time basis.
Our user experience process begins with analyzing your various stakeholders. When we determine who is using your site (how old are they, how fast is their internet, etc) we then look into what are they trying to accomplish most often. Ideally we should get that down to 1 just click from your home page where possible.
Great user experience guides your visitors into your site and keeps them coming back as they dig for more.
