B2R Google Map

As Bach to Rock Music School launches its fifth site in Lansdowne, VA it sought to research its wealth of customer data to determine how to best market its latest branch.  After a thorough analysis process, vOfficeware was able to develop a data model to process all of the data it has compiled since the first school opened.  B2R can now use this data to track its retention history among many key metrics.

To fully utilize this data, vOfficeware has been able to integrate this information with Google Maps.  Now after a marketing campaign is complete, B2R can track its effectiveness both numerically and visually. As B2R’s database grows the tools developed will continually analyze data and provide insights otherwise hidden amongst hundreds of thousands of records.

Avalar San Diego knew that their old website was not going to cut it in today’s rapidly changing and highly competitive real estate industry.  Avalar San Diego turned to vOfficeware to provide them not only a new website, but an entirely new web strategy aimed at gaining customers through the internet.

vOfficeware recommended the following steps:

1. Get a new website design: vOfficeware chose WordPress’ AgentPress theme as the baseline for the website development.  This theme is a highly customizable real estate website solution.  Out of the box, however, AgentPress does not integrate with RETS or MLS data, which was a requirement for the next step.

2.  Gain qualified leads through the website: This means that SEO is a priority for the site so that when users type in “San Diego Real Estate”, they pop up first.  After weeks of searching for an existing solution using WordPress that integrates RETS data into a website without iframes, we stumbled upon a company called ListingPress.  ListingPress was (and still is) in the BETA version of their WordPress real estate listing module, but it very powerful.

3.  Engage potential clients: Being able to personally connect with a customer is critical for any business in these tough economic times.  vOfficeware advised Avalar San Diego to set up a twitter account for their firm in addition to a blog (of course, powered by WordPress).  vOfficeware encourages Avalar San Diego to blog 3 times a week and post these articles to Active Rain (a real estate social networking site).

So there you have it.  A complete Real Estate Solution based around WordPress’ incredible SEO features.

trophy goldEach year the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) has thousands of its members compete for a small number of very prestigious awards. The paperwork would pile up and after an arduous process a winner would be selected. Earlier this year, the ASMC had decided enough was enough and sought a vendor to deliver a customized awards management solution.

vOfficeware, Inc was selected to develop this web application. The requirements were stringent: the system must support an unlimited number of fields and must be customizable by non-technical staff. The thought was perplexing, the ASMC was requesting technology that would allow a user to create a custom database of award nominations without knowing anything about database technology. vOfficeware’s engineers worked around the clock to deliver a solution that masqueraded all aspects that the end user was in fact building their own database. With an intuitive interface, ASMC personnel can create their own nomination forms as they used to do in Microsoft Word — but now have them become full fledged databases to track nominations all the way up to award selection.

The ASMC will present this awards system during its annual conference at the end of May and soon after nominees, judges and ASMC back-office personnel will access the single system to nominate, vote and honor its nominees.

Families of American Military (FOAM) is a non profit specializing in providing housing for veterans with a disability.  They are in the midst of launching a new program called “Shelter Our Families” and is teaming up with the Disability Opportunity Fund (tDOF) to provide large scale housing for veterans with a disability.

FOAM has engaged vOfficeware to dramatically expand awareness of its services.  To do this, vOfficeware is utilizing its tried and true outreach toolkit.  By becoming increasingly approachable, military families will have streamlined access to housing.  To accomplish this widespread goal vOfficeware will implement a content management system to simplify the process for FOAM personnel to directly communicate with its base.

In addition to web presence management, vOfficeware has configured a Facebook Page, a Twitter account and a newsletter management system.  Using modern tools and techniques, FOAM will be able to focus on its mission while automatically marketing itself to prospective service veterans who could benefit will from their offering.

As vOfficeware continues expanding FOAM’s marketing efforts, it will also be developing an advanced database system to match disabled veterans with potential homes.  Such a combination of talent illustrates vOfficeware’s distinguished ability to execute well among multiple technical disciplines.

In March of 2007, Cambridge Information Group (CIG) launched Bach To Rock (B2R), America’s Music School in Bethesda, MD.  CIG’s vision is to have B2R become a household name with thousands of schools world-wide.  While searching the market place for a single tool that could handle all enrollment, scheduling, billing, and back-end operations to manage all of these locations the results came out empty.

As such, vOfficeware was commissioned to develop a robust yet cost effective system that could handle the critical needs of those days to the increasingly urgent demands the system would bring about as the vision becomes a reality.  After a quick yet thorough strategizing period the large scale enterprise grade school management system was architected and developed before the fall launch.

Today, roughly 2 years after launch, vOfficeware is proud to say it has been able to meet the stringent demands of a growing and prosperous business.  B2R has grown from its single school to a current 5 locations and its pace of expansion is only accelerating.  This system currently processes over 10,000 transactions per day and provides amazingly detailed insights into the day-to-day operations of the schools for management review.

CIG continues to rely on the service and support of vOfficeware, Inc as it plans to continue expanding its school locations. The web application is used by over 2,000 students, parents, teachers, and corporate managers. As such, vOfficeware, Inc recognizes that its reliability is a pillar of success to CIG.

1299194_75894l_jpgPrior Art Searches, Inc has always been a visionary firm. As one of the first patent search services to establish a web presence, Prior Art Searches setup PriorArt.com as a basic information portal. In March of 2006, Prior Art Searches engaged in a technological overhaul. The challenge was great: migrate 20+ years of data records stored in a MS Access 3.0 database, a whole slew of shared network drives, and a shelves of paper documents into an easily accessible intuitive web office — all while allowing for the processing of new business.

After a careful vendor selection process, vOfficeware was chosen to map a new path and build a strong foundation for Prior Art’s next 20+ years of successful business. vOfficeware developed a set up a single interface to capture all of the seemingly disorganized information. Within 3 months vOfficeware delivered.

The Enterprise Information System joined Prior Art Searches’s global workforce and global client base into a secure web portal. Clients in Japan could make orders during their evening alerting Prior Art Searches’s U.S. based work force to take immediate action. The next morning the Japanese clients were happy and Prior Art Searches would receive an electronic payment (of course which made them happy)!

A few short months later the comprehensive data migration process was completed and this web application could now support client needs dating back to the history of the firm. With no need to dive into an archival cabinet, no need to call FedEx, and no longer requiring employees to report to the physical office the enterprise system allowed Prior Art Searches to thrive.

With the all-electronic processes designed, developed and implemented, today Prior Art Searches, Inc does business in 7 more countries than it used to 3 years ago. Employee satisfaction has increased as has overall product quality. PAS continues to depends on vOfficeware, Inc to quickly mitigate technical issues to ensure continued operations and vOfficeware is honored to fulfill that demand.

GoPublicService

When the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration’s technology needs became increasingly complex they chose vOfficeware.   NASPAA needed an intuitive accessible web site to inform the public about careers in public service.  Committed to the mission of promoting the MPA/MPP degree vOfficeware drafted a cost effective and highly effective strategy.

GoPublicService.org was launched from the get-go with Search Engine Optimization in mind.  With continued SEO tools and techniques applied, the site has been able to see exponential growth without tremendous expenditure.

Although the initial project called for specific XHTML/CSS web design skills as well as Adobe Flash talent, vOfficeware’s strength came in its full-service approach.  As NASPAA lacks a diverse technical staff it needed vOfficeware to be a trusted partner with a success-oriented attitude.  Whether the task involved converting documents into PDF, configuring a Google Adwords account, migrating servers, or simply copy-editing vOfficeware was there to provide support.

vOfficeware continues to be a beacon of technological support for NASPAA and has been commissioned to develop a complex database analysis portal.
